About Colin Angele

Born and raised into an Irish-Catholic military family with 12 kids (6 boys and 6 girls), I had the pleasure of growing up in 7 different states throughout my childhood. I attended Saint Mary’s Academy, a boarding school in Kansas, followed by North Idaho College where I majored in Theater. I worked as a lot attendant for a local car dealership and a door-to-door salesman for a security company until shortly after September 11th, 2001, when I enlisted in the U.S. Army as a Signals Intelligence Analyst.
Having worked as a Non-Commissioned Officer for eight years, I inherited the integrity, honesty, and commitment to duty instilled each and every day. I passionately put forth each of these characteristics into every opportunity I was given such as: Signals Intelligence Analyst at the National Security Agency in Fort Meade, Maryland to Brigade S-2 Senior Intelligence Analyst, Operations NCOIC, and Brigade S-2 NCOIC while at the US Army Space and Missile Command located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. These opportunities encouraged my professional growth and allowed me the ability to communicate effectively and contribute to my personal successes as well. It’s here in Colorado where I met my future husband and why later we would call Colorado home.
Shortly after my military separation, we moved back home to further my education. I enrolled at the University of Idaho’s College of Business and Economics where I studied Finance and Accounting. After graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, we moved back to Colorado for a job opportunity in sales. However, since I was a young boy, I have always had a passion for Real Estate and Architecture. I loved going ‘house hunting’ with my parents and often encouraged my mom and dad on the different properties they would see. Having worked in sales for the last 5 years in both the Colorado Springs and the greater Denver areas, I understand the purpose in building relationships and sincerely connecting with your client and your client’s needs. Although I thoroughly enjoyed being a Market Trainer for the retail giant, Mattress Firm, I am excited to be launching into the real estate world with The Wilson Group. I admire their “CLIENTS COME FIRST” approach, their professionalism, and their efficient process.
A Colorado resident at heart since 2006, I am an enthusiastic member of the community and support both our local foster kids and fight of pancreatic cancer programs. I love spending time with my husband, Leandro, and our little min-pin Diamond hiking and experiencing every outdoor activity the beautiful Colorado Rockies has to offer.
It has been quite the adventure. Nevertheless, I look forward to the opportunity of finding families their new homes and showing the best that Denver and the surrounding communities have to offer. I truly believe helping achieve a client’s dream of either purchasing or selling their home is a rewarding end to a beautiful beginning.
